Who owns Residences At Asbury?
The Residences At Asbury is owned and managed by the Luther Manor Retirement Community, a faith based, not-for-profit organization and one of the most respected providers of senior housing and healthcare in the Dubuque area. Since 1949 we have been living up to our mission statement: "Enriching lives through a continuum of quality services, guided by Christian love and compassion".
Who is qualified to become a resident of the Residences At Asbury?
Anyone age 55+ and financially able to meet the terms of the Occupancy Agreement.
Does the Residences At Asbury have an Entrance Fee?
Yes. An entrance fee is a single, up-front payment that sets the stage for a carefree lifestyle.
Is the Entrance Fee refundable?
Absolutely! Depending on the entrance option you choose you will recoup 100% or 85%. The refund will be available to fund future services with Luther Manor if needed.
What is included in the monthly fee?
The monthly fee includes maintenance on your town home inside and out including lawn care, snow removal, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair. The staff at Luther Manor will be on call to assist you with the proper maintenance of your town home.
Are appliances included?
Yes. You will have energy star appliances which include: Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave Oven, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Washer & Dryer - all of which we will maintain!
Do you have parking?
Yes - in your own 2 car attached garage.
What will happen in the future if I need more care?
The Luther Manor Retirement Community offers a full continuum of care of which you will have priority access:
- Care At Home
- Outpatient Services
- Catered Living
- Long Term / Short Term Care
- Memory Care
Residences At Asbury will receive a 10% discount on our Care At Home services. We offer services such as meal preparations, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, escort to doctor appointments & many more personal care opportunities right in your own home.
Skilled therapists provide outpatient services using specialized equipment and techniques tailored to meet the patients’ needs and goals to: increase function, improve independence in activities of daily living, improve speaking and verbal skills and improve quality of life.
One & two bedroom apartments with a meal plan option are available at the Luther Manor Apartments at 3131 Hillcrest Road. Care at Home services is available at a 10% discount.
Each "Resident" will be offered 7 free days each year at the Luther Manor Care Center. You may need a little more care & time to recover from an illness or surgery before returning back to your town home. Should you need to be at the Luther Manor Care Center fulltime you will have priority access.
Our Sunshine Valley provides a safe and secure haven with a low stimulus environment for the care of memory related illnesses. We have 12 private and 2 semi-private suites.
